In the last 24 hours, 47 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the occupied by a total of 3,308 tests, announced the “Minister of Health” Ali Pilli.
In a written statement, Mr. Pilli said that one passenger who arrived at the occupied areas by air was found to be positive, another incident is a confirmed case of contact and 45 are infections within the community.
He adds that a patient has been transferred to the ICU.
Of the people who were screened for the coronavirus, 15 are from Nicosia, 29 from Kyrenia and 2 from Morphou.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the occupied areas is 2,255 while 14 people have died from Covid-19 disease.
