Free Rapid Test on February 9 - Read the sampling points

The sampling points for the control programs with rapid test of the general population and employees for February 9, 2021 were announced by the Ministry of Health.

The announcement in detail:

To monitor the epidemiological situation in Cyprus, the Ministry of Health continues the free screening programs with rapid antigen test of the general population and employees. The increasing number of tests in the community contributes significantly to the strategy for the gradual de-escalation of restrictive measures.

In order to ensure the smooth and safe operation of companies operating in accordance with the Decrees, employers in companies, as well as Heads of Departments / Services of the public and wider public sector have the responsibility to coordinate as employees undergo rapid testing, to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid antigen test of the staff as follows:

  • Businesses / services that employ up to 3 people , the audit should be done on all employees .
  • Businesses / services employing from 4 to 10 people , the audit should be done on at least 4 employees .
  • Businesses / services that employ more than 11 people , the audit should be done on at least 4 people or 20% of employees, whichever is greater in number .

Therefore, employees can come to the sampling points that operate in all Provinces, according to the plan drawn up by the employer / boss. For Tuesday, February 9, the sampling units will be located at the following locations:
