Freedom24 became a Super Grand Sponsor of the Cypriot sailor Pavlos Kontides, the first Olympic medalist in the history of his country. Born and raised in Cyprus, Kontidis won a silver medal in the men's Laser sailing category at the 2012 Olympics. He has also won the title of World Champion twice (2017 and 2018) and European Champion twice (2018 and 2022). . Kontidis will represent Cyprus at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
