The President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, was discharged this morning, after yesterday's successful vertebral surgery in which he underwent a private hospital (outside GESS). According to a government source who spoke to http://politis.com.cy, the President went straight to the Presidential Palace from the hospital, and immediately got a job. His goal is to announce his new government as soon as possible – even if it is possible tomorrow – in order to stop the public debate on social media, which harms both his image and the image of the government.
The same source added that the President of the Republic has come up with the name of the new Government Spokesman. This is Marios Pelekanos – he was a candidate for DISY MP (he failed to get elected, however he did well in the elections, he received 7013 crosses of preference), chairman of the Board of KOAG, president of the Organization of Young Scientists of DISY.
