At least 39,965 Palestinians have been killed and 92,294 injured in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, according to a statement from the enclave's health ministry today.
In the last 24 hours, 36 Palestinians were killed and 54 wounded, according to the same announcement.
