The fire in Agia Marina Xyliatou is under partial control, the Minister of Justice, Emily Giolitis, states in a post, emphasizing that the ability, readiness and training of the fire brigade are allies in the titanic effort to extinguish the fire.
He notes that by air they tried to extinguish the fire while the battle continues with 25 tankers and 15 mobile units.
“The fire is under partial control and no residential areas are threatened. We are continuing intensively.”
