Differentiation in the way that travelers from abroad will be able to reach Greece is proposed by the Infectious Diseases Committee.
The announcements are expected to be made today, during the briefing on the lifting of measures and the coronavirus by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalia.
The suggestion of the infectious disease specialists, according to information, predicts that Greece will receive travelers:
- From the green areas, either vaccinated with a 48-hour rapid test or a 72-hour PCR
- From the orange areas vaccinated with 72 hours PCR
- From the red areas vaccinated with 72-hour PCR and 7-day quarantine and at the end of the quarantine test again before they are released in the country.
It is noted that the Commission reportedly suggested the opening of closed cinemas with 50% fullness , from July 1 and entry either for vaccinated or with a negative self test.
In addition, he favors, from June 19, to increase the number of customers in retail, with the limit of customers being one person per 16 square meters (from one person per 25 sqm).
From June 19, experts also suggest the opening of outdoor playgrounds and amusement parks, therapeutic baths and massages.
