New measures amid a lockdown were announced by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, during the regular briefing of the Ministry of Health on the progress of Covid-19 in Greece.
Specifically, from Thursday morning at 6 am, until March 16 at 6 am, the following will apply:
In the six reasons for moving around the country there will be differences in codes 2 and 6. For code 2 going to supermarkets and basic supply stores, but also for code 3 concerning the transition to banks or public services the movement will takes place within the relevant municipality or up to two kilometers from the residence.
For code 6 the movement will be done only on foot or by bicycle throughout the country and no one can go to another area.
For code 4 regarding the provision of assistance, the audit bodies will ask for more information from tomorrow.
The Undersecretary at the beginning sent the message that “we see the end, but we are not done with the virus”.

The above measures come into force on Thursday morning, with the Government optimistic that within the next 12-14 days, it will see the suppression of the epidemic and the reduction of cases, in order to achieve an even cowardly opening of the market after Net Monday.
