New measures amid a lockdown were announced by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, during the regular briefing of the Ministry of Health on the progress of Covid-19 in Greece.

The above measures come into force on Thursday morning, with the Government optimistic that within the next 12-14 days, it will see the suppression of the epidemic and the reduction of cases, in order to achieve an even cowardly opening of the market after Net Monday. The measures are valid from tomorrow at 6 in the morning until Tuesday, March 16 at 6 in the morning, with the exception of the Larissa Regional Unit, where the measures will start from Saturday, March 6, in order to facilitate the management of the consequences of today's earthquake. the area.

At the same time, the traffic ban is updated, which is formulated as follows.

At the level of increased risk (red) it is valid from 9 pm to 5 am, while at the level of very high risk (deep red) from 7 pm to 5 am. With the exception of the Attica Region and the Thessaloniki Regional Unit, where the traffic ban on weekdays (Monday to Friday) is formed from 9 pm to 5 am, due to the metropolitan nature of these areas.
