Accumulation of water is observed in various places on the Larnaca – Nicosia highway, in both directions to Nicosia and Larnaca, especially in the area of Lympia, with the result that there is a risk of water sliding of passing vehicles, the Police said in a statement.
The rest of the road network, he added, does not present any serious problems, however due to the rainy weather conditions prevailing, the roads may be slippery.
Drivers are encouraged to drive at a safe, low speed and to maintain a safe distance from oncoming vehicles.
