A 38-year-old man is being brought before a court in connection with the arson of a 34-year-old car, which was reported on the morning of January 31, 2022, in Limassol.
According to the complaint, during the previous night, a fire broke out in the complainant's car, which was parked in the yard of his house.
The fire was extinguished on its own after causing damage inside the vehicle and was noticed by the owner of the vehicle on the morning of January 31st.
The fire was found to have started maliciously, while from further investigations by the Police, a testimony was secured against a 38-year-old resident of a village in the province of Limassol.
An arrest warrant was issued against him, under which he was arrested yesterday and remanded in custody to facilitate investigations.
