A 48-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with a case of burglary and theft in Paphos of loot with money and items worth 2,500 euros.
According to the Police Spokesperson Paphos director and Head of the Paphos TAE Michalis Nikolaou, 48, is said to be involved in a burglary of a flower shop that took place between April 19-20, in Paphos.
As the owner of the flower shop reported to the Police, a sum of 2,000 euros and a tablet worth 500 euros were stolen from the burglary of the flower shop. From further investigations of the Police, through the closed circuit surveillance, a 48-year-old resident of Paphos was identified. An arrest warrant was issued against him, with which he was arrested shortly after 01:00 today, Tuesday morning, and was taken into custody. p>
According to an announcement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, at the residence of the suspect, after an investigation carried out by the members of the TAE, the computer that had been stolen from the store was found, while later interrogated, the suspect confessed to the burglary and theft.
