Police arrested a 47-year-old man who was allegedly driving a double-cab vehicle with which the vehicle driven by the 24-year-old with the unfortunate 20-year-old Gabriella Savva collided, the Police proceeded.
According to police sources, the 47-year-old man left the scene of the accident, leaving his wife in his place.
It is recalled that from the collision the two young men were thrown from the vehicle and were seriously injured. They were transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital where Gabriella's death was confirmed.
The 24-year-old driver was detained for treatment after suffering fractures in various parts of his body. According to doctors, his condition is serious but out of danger.
According to the Police, at the scene of the collision was a woman who allegedly introduced herself as the driver of the vehicle with which the 24-year-old's vehicle collided.
During the examination, a 47-year-old man from the province of Larnaca testified that this was the driver of the vehicle, who left the scene of the road collision with a car that the aforementioned woman had arrived at the scene.
