Yesterday, the Police proceeded to locate and seize a quantity of cannabis weighing 16 kg and to arrest a young man aged 28.
The 28-year-old arrived at Larnaca airport coming from another European country country shortly after seven o'clock yesterday evening.
During the passport control that was carried out on him, it was found that he had an arrest warrant pending against him from the Limassol Police Department, for a drug case, as a result of which he was arrested.
Subsequently, in a search carried out by Customs Officers in his luggage, 15 nylon packages containing a quantity of cannabis, weighing 16 kilograms and approximately 12 grams, were found.
