Highlighting the need for more dialogue and exchange of views
He invited the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community, Ersin Tatar, to a teleconference , the head of the Republican Turkish Party (RTK), Tufan Erhiurman.
Mr. Erhiurman, in a new post on social media, thanked Mr. Tatar for his answer > in his previous statements, pointing out the need for more dialogue and exchange of views.
- The “presidency” calls on Erhuurman to evaluate the developments with realism
The head of the RTK called on Mr. Tatar to be realistic, as he himself urged him, and stated that he has already repeatedly answered the questions put to him by the Turkish Cypriot leader, both in the “parliament” as well as in public. However, Mr. Erhiurman expressed his willingness to answer all of Mr. Tatar's questions again on a TV channel of his choice, in order to have an open dialogue on such a critical issue.
Furthermore, he noted that this would be an opportunity for Mr. Tatar to answer the questions that he himself has put to him publicly several times.
