At around 4.30 yesterday afternoon, a 35-year-old man, while driving a buggy vehicle in an area of the village of Mammari, in the province of Nicosia, under conditions under investigation, lost control of the vehicle and overturned in a field.
The 35-year-old was injured and transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where it was found that he suffered a fracture of two vertebrae.
His state of health is judged by the treating doctors as critical.
The Kokkinotrimithia Police Station continues the examinations.
