Aris failed against Rakov and continues in the playoffs of the Europa League where they will face Slovan Bratislava. The “light brigade” tried against the Poles to overturn the 2-1 first-leg deficit, but failed to convert the chances they created into goals and paid for inactivity in the 49th minute, with Tudor scoring their one and only goal match, giving Rakov a 1-0 victory. Afterwards, Spilewski's team failed to score and enter the qualifying competition and thus were eliminated from the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, but they continue their quest for the Europa League playoffs.
1st half
In the first half Aris came on strong with the aim of scoring a goal, controlling the game and equalizing the score of the first match.
It wasn't until 2' that Aris created the first phase, with Stepinski making the shot outside the area, but the ball went just over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, a second good chance was missed for the home team, with Mayabela's header also going wide.
Aris continued to circulate the ball and look for the goal. In the 21st minute, the “light brigade” missed a huge double chance after a foul, Kazu brought down Musuda, he took the shot, the keeper saved, Mayabela in the rebound took the shot, but the ball went just wide.

Aris was looking for the goal and at the end of the first half it came quite close, at 45+1' Stepinski caught the volley outside the area, but the ball stopped on the post.
2nd half
< p>In the second half the game started negatively for Aris with Rakov in the 47th minute missing a huge chance with Piachetski, unable to beat Vana Alves who made a huge save.
Two minutes after the warning message from the Polish team, he managed to make it 1-0 in the 49th minute after a direct free kick by Tudor, who sent the ball into the net to put his team ahead.
Aris then opened up and tried to equalize, but he didn't have a clear mind so he couldn't easily create problems in front of the opposing goal.
In the last fifteen minutes Aris rose more and within 2 minutes missed three very good chances. In the 78th minute, Nikolic's shot was saved by Kovacevic, while in the next phase, Rakov's keeper made another save in Struski's shot. In the 80th minute, Spilevski's team lost another big phase with a shot by Majabela, but Kovacevic again made a great save.
After that, nothing changed in the score and Rakov qualified for the next round with Aris to continue in the Europa League playoffs against Slovan Bratislava.
