Stable value in scoring, when at least Berat Sadik wears the jersey of Doxa!
The 34-year-old Finn started the season with a goal, as he “signed” the away draw of his team in the premiere of the new league with AEK (1-1).
This was the first time that Sadik scored against the yellow-greens, although he has reached 53 (!) Goals in Cyprus.
The experienced forward scored with Doxa in the league 18 goals in the 2017/18 season, another 12 in the 2018/19 season and again 18 in the 2020/21 season, while with the Union jersey he scored two goals in the 2019/20 season (did not score in the first half of the season with Anorthosis). He also scored two goals in the cup, with Doxa, in the 2017/18 season.
None of his 52 previous goals was against AEK, against which he found the net for the first time today (20/8).
Now, the only Cypriot team (first division) against which Sadik has never scored, is Apollon, whom he faced seven times (five with Doxa, one with Anorthosis, one with Union), remaining “empty” in all.
