The Paphos Police proceeded to the arrest of a 31-year-old man for a case of alleged assault against a police officer as well as attempted theft, malicious damage to a hotel.

According to the Paphos ADE Press Representative and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on March 19, information was given to the Police that a person was in a certain hotel in the Chlorakas area and was trying to cut off copper pipes from the hotel's hotel with the intention of theft.

Members of the Paphos ADE went to the area and at 22:15 they spotted the above person hiding in an adjacent field while the members of the force tried to he was arrested, he attacked a police officer, but his arrest and immobilization were successful.

As it became clear, this is a 31-year-old man who was arrested for the attack on a police officer, but also for attempted theft, malicious damage and illegal entry into foreign property .

He was subsequently taken into custody and the examinations are continuing by the Paphos Police.
