The Police, in the context of investigating a case of illegal possession of property, proceeded to arrest a 26-year-old man yesterday.
The 26-year-old man was spotted yesterday in a folk market in Larnaca, exhibiting and selling footwear, which had been stolen this month, from a company's warehouse in Nicosia.
119 pairs of shoes (of various brands) were found in the possession of the 26-year-old, as well as a sum of money, which came from the sales of the shoes in question.
Also, following his written consent, a search was conducted at his home in Nicosia, where more than 200 pairs of shoes were located and taken.
When interrogated, the 26-year-old allegedly admitted the commission of the above offences.
The TAE of Nicosia continues the examinations.
