The number of inspections carried out by the Police throughout Cyprus in the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Thursday until 06.00 today) amounts to 2,611, in order to verify the observance of the measures and the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, during the inspections, 14 complaints were made by citizens and 15 people in charge of premises.
Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 715 inspections were carried out, out of which 7 complaints of citizens and 7 establishments emerged, in Limassol 301 inspections were carried out, out of which 1 citizen complaint and 3 establishments emerged and in Larnaca 616 inspections were carried out, of which 1 property complaint arose.
Also, in Paphos, 131 inspections were carried out, from which 3 complaints of premises and 2 citizens emerged, and in Famagusta, 489 were carried out, from which 4 complaints of citizens and one building emerged.
In the area of Morfos, 244 inspections were carried out, without any complaint.
Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 111 inspections, without any complaint, while at the Ports and Airports, 4 inspections were carried out without any complaint.
