The Volunteer Team of the Hellenic Bank actively participated in the actions of the “Let's Do It Cyprus” campaign, contributing to the cleaning of the Athalassa National Forest Park.
Hellenic Bank for another year supported the institution in many ways. In addition to donating to make this campaign a reality, the Bank's Volunteer Team with the slogan #stoxerisou took part in the event with the aim of contributing to change.
Specifically, the staff of Hellenic Bank organized a voluntary cleaning action of the Athalassa National Forest Park on Sunday, October 31st. The actions were carried out in the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy of Hellenic Bank, supporting once again actions aimed at the restoration of the environment and sustainable development. Recently, the Bank's Volunteer Team had carried out cleaning on the shoreline of Zygio beach.
In our country, Let's Do It Cyprus, unites over 40,000 active citizens with the main goal of getting rid of the island from garbage, consolidating the environmental feeling in society, activating citizens through environmental volunteering and active environmental education for students. It was organized in Cyprus in collaboration with the Office of the Environment Commissioner and the Together Volunteer Network.
