The free screening program for coronavirus with rapid antigen tests of the workers continues today, Tuesday, while at the same time the control program of the general population is carried out.
There will be 12 sampling points in the city and province of Larnaca today and seven in the province of Famagusta.
Specifically, in Larnaca from 08.30 to 18.00 there will be points at the Cultural Center “Agios Georgios Kontos”, at the Municipal Theater of Larnaca, at the Cultural Center “Agios Savvas” in Livadia, at the church of Apostolos Barnabas (Krasia area), at the Primary School Dromolaxias and at the House of the Association “Omonia Aradippou” in Aradippou.
From 08.30 to 13.00 sampling points will operate in the Building of the old Grocery in Xylotympou, in the Community Council of Skarino, in the old Community Council of Oroklini (1 Armonia Street).
From 13.30 to 18.00 there will be sampling points at the Community Council of Ormidia and in the closed sports hall in Athienou, while from 13.30 to 18.30 there will be a sampling point at the Community Clinic of Kornos.
In the province of Famagusta, sampling points will operate from 08.30 to 18.00, at the Spiritual Center of the Metropolitan Church of Paralimni, from 08.30 to 13.00 at the “Onisillos” Association in Sotira, the Community Council of Frenaros and the Elderly Egg Club.
From 13.30 to 18.00 there will be sampling points in the church of Ayia Napa in Ayia Napa, in the Nationalist Associations of Liopetri and in the Adult Center of Deryneia.
Six points for rapid tests on Tuesday in Paphos
Six points were set by the Ministry of Health in Paphos District for the operation of mobile rapid sampling units, on Tuesday both for the control of employees and for the control of the general population, in order to provide faster service and avoid overcrowding.
Specifically, a mobile unit will operate today, February 2, until February 7 in the church of Apostles Paul and Barnabas from 8:30 to 18:00, in the former house of the Prefect on Griva Digeni Street from 08:30 to 18:00.

In Emba, a mobile unit will operate in the Multipurpose Hall of the Community Council of Emba from 14:00 to 18:00, in the Community Clinic of Timi from 08:30 – 13:00 and in the church of Agia Paraskevi in Geroskipou from 13:30 until 18:00.
Meanwhile, from the rapid antigen tests (rapid test) in Paphos District yesterday, 5 positive results were identified and the percentage of positivity reached 0.23%, while there was a large attendance of employees who must return to work today.

Meanwhile, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, access to the Vaccination Portal from yesterday, February 1st, is available to people over the age of 84, who have not made an appointment in the previous weeks or have not already been vaccinated. The appointments concern the period from the 8th to the 12th of February.
The Ministry recommends to the citizens who belong to the age sub-group that has priority for vaccination, to arrange appointments on the first day and time available, so that there is a continuous flow in the Vaccination Centers.
