Paphos FC, winning 3-0 in the home of Cluj, celebrated its maiden qualification to European competition groups or otherwise to the League Stage of the Conference League in its first appearance in Europe. Scorers for the Paphos team are Zaza in the 28th, Goldar in the 30th and Tankovic in the 48th. It is worth mentioning that Carcedo's team qualified for the 3rd time in a row with a 3rd consecutive upset in the 2nd match and while it had experienced defeat in the first match

1st Half

The match started with a big missed opportunity for the home team. First we complete a minute, Cluj's defense made a mistake, Zairo came out four-four with Popa and went to triple him but the Romanian goalkeeper stole the ball from him.

The Cypriot team had entered very strongly, wanting in this way the quick goal and the equalization of the total score. The two teams then had their fair share of good moments, but these did not turn into a goal.

The Carcedos team managed to score a double within three minutes and get a qualifying score. In the 28th minute of the match, Cluj's defense made another mistake and Zairo stole the ball, ran forward and crossed with Zaza in close range sending the ball into Popa's goal. With the resumption of the match, Paphos won a free kick just behind the midfield, Pepe took over its execution with Goldar taking the head and sending the ball into the net.

After the two goals and with the qualification ticket to change hands the visiting team gained space on the field of play but did not manage to do anything I rate it. Nothing changed in the rest of the first half, with the two teams going to the locker room with the “blues of Paphos” leading 2-0.

Second Half< /p>

The second half got off to the best start for Carcedo's side after Zaza won a penalty after being brought down by Bobin. Its execution was undertaken by Tankovic who sent the ball on one side and Popa on the other.

The home team then brought the match where they wanted it so that time passed and to secure qualification to the League Stage of the Conference League.

In the remaining minutes nothing changed so Paphos made history after passing through the League Stage in their first European appearance
