The Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) announces that the deadline for submitting applications by unemployed people to learn the Russian language is extended until Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 14:00.

The purpose of the training programs is to provide training opportunities for the unemployed to learn the Russian language. Participation in training programs broadens the prospects for reintegration and better integration of the unemployed into employment.

Each program includes 100 hours of institutional (theoretical and practical) training in a certified Vocational Training Center (KEK), which has been selected after a relevant competition.

The following is paid for each unemployed person participating in the program:

(a) Training allowance of € 5 per training hour, ie € 500 per trainee for the entire training.

(b) Contributions to the Social Insurance Fund, the Social Cohesion Fund and the GESS, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation.

The HRDA insures the participants in accordance with the relevant legislation.

The programs will be implemented in all provinces, depending on the expression of interest by the unemployed.

The training programs are open to persons who are registered as unemployed in the Public Employment Service Register (PES) during the period of submission of applications for participation in the programs. Unemployed people who have previous work experience in the hotel sector in the last two years before the start of the invitation, have priority.

For the participation of the unemployed, conditions of participation and criteria apply as they are analyzed in the document “Basic Information” for the specific programs on the website of the HRDA at www.anad.org.cy. The scoring and selection of the candidates will be done according to the criteria and conditions as they are analyzed in the above document. Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview to determine if they are inclined / appealing to the subject and interested in participating in the program. Candidate interviews will be conducted in each province.
