In a coordinated operation carried out by the Paphos Police to prevent road collisions, a total of 159 traffic complaints were made in the last three days, most of which related to driving at excessive speed.
According to the Spokesman of the Paphos ADE and Head of the Paphos TAE Michalis Nikolaou, the Police in the last three days proceeded with 159 traffic complaints in the city and province of Paphos, of which 56 related to driving at excessive speed, 16 driving under the influence of alcohol, 4 driving under the influence of drugs and other minor traffic violations.
Mr. Nikolaou noted that the coordinated operations of the Police will continue at a later stage in order to prevent road conflicts.
