The Commissioner of the Presidency, Fotis Fotiou, will participate in the seventh consecutive tripartite meeting of Cyprus, Greece, Egypt on Diaspora issues that will take place tomorrow in Cairo.
As he stated in KYPE Mr. Fotiou, in the meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Minister of Immigration and Emigrants, Soha Gendy and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Andreas Katsaniotis will discuss the continuation of the “Nostos” program, the encouragement of initiatives with Diaspora organizations of the three countries, especially UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, France. They will also discuss, he added, about youth actions of the Diaspora of the three countries and encouraging the support of young people in the Cyprus initiative – of Egypt on the environment after its presentation at the UN climate summit, COP27, in Sharm El Sheikh.
The Presidency Commissioner indicated that he will also have bilateral meetings with his two counterparts, as well as the Egyptian community.
Mr. Fotiou is leaving tonight for Egypt and will return on Tuesday morning.
