The Deputy Minister for European Affairs will meet with the Hungarian Minister responsible for European Affairs
The Deputy Minister for European Affairs Ms. Marilena Rauna will sit tomorrow in talks with the Minister of European Affairs of Hungary, Mr. Janos Boka, who is arriving in Cyprus tonight for a working visit, at the invitation of Ms. Rauna.
The Hungarian Minister of European Affairs will be given a tour tomorrow at 10 am, in the area of Chrysaliniotissa up to the Famagusta Gate, and along the ceasefire line, accompanied by Mrs Rauna.
Then, at 11.30am, they will go to the Presidential Palace, where they will they have a private meeting and then they will sit down in extended talks.
Among the issues that will be discussed are the plans of the Republic of Cyprus in view of the Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026, as well as issues that will concern the upcoming Hungarian Presidency.
At noon Ms. Rauna will host a working lunch in honor of Mr. Boka, who in the afternoon will visit the Search and Rescue Coordination Center in Larnaca, where he will be informed about the course and the plans included in the “Amalthia” project.
The Hungarian Minister will leave Cyprus tomorrow afternoon.
