Today, periods of sunshine will alternate with periods of increased cloudiness, which mainly at noon and in the afternoon is expected to give isolated rain in the mountainous areas south of Troodos as well as locally on the south and southwest coasts. Locally, in some mountainous areas it is possible to snow. The winds will blow northwest to northeast and in the afternoon to the west southwest to west, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort but in the morning on the leeward coast moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent but in the morning in the north and east until turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 15 degrees inland, around 16 on the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally frost can prevail.
