The District Court of Famagusta sentenced a 24-year-old man to 20 days in prison today, after finding him guilty of traffic offenses he committed on two separate occasions.
In a statement the Police Communications Branch reports that “the offenses concern careless driving and causing a road collision, damage to property and leaving the scene of an accident without assistance, which were committed on 18/12/2022 in Paralimni, as well as driving under the influence of alcohol 80 µg% instead of 22 µg%, an offense which was committed on 5/2/2023 in Deryneia”.
