The President of the Republic met with the President of the European Parliament
The President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis had a meeting tonight with the President of the European Parliament Ms Roberta Metsola.
Ms Metsola arrived at the Presidential Palace around 9 this evening where she was received by President Christodoulidis with whom she had a brief private meeting.
Then the President of the Republic sat down to a private dinner with Mrs. Metsola.
Tomorrow, at 11.45am, President Christodoulidis and Ms. Metsola will go to the port of Larnaca, where the President of the European Parliament will inspect the facilities and processes within the framework of the “Amalthia” initiative, while they will then proceed to the Search and Rescue Coordination Center (SRC) where they will make statements to the media, before Ms. Metsola leaves Cyprus.
