The demonstration and protest march against corruption and restrictive measures was organized through social media, gathering dozens of citizens.
As of yesterday, the police had warned with a relevant announcement, reminding that mass events are prohibited.
In connection with posts on Social Media for an impending protest, we recall the decree (No. 6) of 2021, of the Ministry of Health published on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Official Gazette of the Republic and entered into force immediately, according to which mass events, gatherings, demonstrations, parades, concerts, open-air festivals, including festivals, and similar events in public or private spaces.
Therefore, everyone's attention is drawn once again and the responsibility is underlined, but also the obligation for full compliance with the relevant decrees of the Ministry of Health for the protection of public health. For its part, the Police will take all necessary measures for the faithful implementation of the decrees. Those persons found to be in violation of the relevant decrees or to take actions that may incite other persons to violate the decrees or to commit offenses will be subject to the consequences of the Law.
