Immense sadness was spread by the news of the death of 36-year-old Konstantinos Momtsis. .
Konstantinos was originally from Florinaand his relatives and friends cannot believe the surprising event.
The 36-year-old was an experienced skier while on the account he maintained on the online platform Instagram he wrote that he was: “travel guide, ski instructor, mountaineer and camper”.

How he met a tragic death
36-year-old Konstantinos Momtsis met a tragic death when together with three other friends he went down the Markujik 3 piste in Bulgaria, which had been closed due to extreme weather conditions. The four friends went down the steepest part of the slope in Borovic and were buried by the avalanche. The three managed to free themselves, but unfortunately Konstantinos was found dead by the rescuers. The avalanche is estimated to have been about 150 meters long and almost 30 meters wide.
