Annual inflation rose to 70% according to official Turkish Statistics Service (TURKSTAT), while the Independent Inflation Research Group (ENAG) announced that annual inflation rose to 157%.
According to TURKSTAT data, the largest increase was in transport with 105.86%, in food and non-alcoholic never with 89.10% and household goods with 77.64%.
The lowest annual increase was recorded in the main communication group with 18.71%, in clothing and footwear with 26.23%, in education with 27.73% and in health with 35.95%.
