Inflation in Cyprus falls to 1.6% in March according to Eurostat estimates

In 1 Annual inflation in Cyprus is expected to reach .6% in March 2024, from 2.1% in February, according to emergency estimates by Eurostat, the statistical agency of the European Union for inflation in the eurozone.

In the eurozone, annual inflation is expected to be 2.4% in March 2024, up from 2.6% in February.

Looking at the main components of eurozone inflation, services are expected to have the highest annual pace in March (4.0%, flat from February), followed by food, alcohol and tobacco (2.7%, up from 3.9% in February), non-energy industrial goods (1, 1%, against 1.6% in February) and energy (-1.8%, against -3.7% in February).
