In road settings, it has conducted by the Limassol Traffic Police, with the aim of the smooth conduct of the carnival parade of Limassol, but also the facilitation of traffic in the surrounding streets.
The carnival parade will take place at 1 p.m. today, Sunday, February 26, 2023 and will pass through Archbishop Makarios III Avenue.
For this reason, the section of the avenue, from the Agios Nikolaos roundabout, to the intersection with Apostolou Varnavas Street, as well as its routes, will be closed to traffic from 12 noon until 8 pm on Sunday.
Also closed to traffic from 8 am until at 10 p.m., it will be the section of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, from the Enaerio traffic lights, to the Agios Nikolaos roundabout and its lanes.
The public in the area is invited to comply with the instructions of the police officers on duty and to use all private and public parking spaces in the area.
