Consent was given by the Environmental Authority for addition conversions to the Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini, having examined the environmental impact of the project on the protected area of ​​the Natura 2000 Network EZD and ZEP “Lake Oroklini” (provided specific mitigation measures are followed to minimize the impact in the area).

This is an investment estimated at around 1.5 million and with an estimated execution period of 12 months, which, as stated in the information report, aims to enrich and improve the tourist product of the area and also to promote the area as a tourist destination .

What changes:

Specifically, the proposed conversions concern the construction of a new block (block 'B') which will include:
• 24 additional rooms
• Indoor pool
• Gym
roof garden and 19 floating
parking spaces (12 + 7 disabled).

Based on the architectural plans, the aim is to join the two buildings (existing and proposed) with the bridging on the first and second floors. Therefore, as stated in the project information report, a very small part of the existing building will need to be demolished so that it can be connected to the new one.

Upon completion of the changes, the hotel unit will include:
-A total of 70 rooms (46 in block 'A ' and 24 in block 'B'), with an existing area of ​​87 sq.m. and proposed area of ​​133 sq.m.
-Three swimming pools (two outdoor and one indoor)
-Gymnasium 50 sq.m.
– Restaurant and dining areas with an area of ​​260 sq.m.
– Bar with an area of ​​65 sq.m.
-Reception with an existing area of ​​242 sq.m. and proposed area of ​​226 sq.m.
-Kitchen with existing and proposed area of ​​100 sq.m.
-Offices with existing area of ​​67 sq.m. (5 offices) and a proposed area of ​​57 sq.m. (4 offices).
-Luggage warehouse with an existing and proposed area of ​​17 sq.m.
-52 parking spaces (total) – (45 conventional, 7 disabled, according to the architectural plans) with a total area of ​​1230 m.m.

At the moment, the unit consists of 4 levels (basement, ground floor, and two floors) and includes a total of 46 rooms (which are located on the first and second floors), multi-purpose space, restaurant, two outdoor swimming pools (one of which is for children), a tennis court and 33
parking spaces (29 guest + 4 staff and loading and unloading).

Access to the proposed project will it is done through Stadiou Street, which adjoins Christou Auxentiou Avenue.
