Cohabitation and the upcoming marriage
Interview on the show “With love Christiana” and Tasos Evangelou granted by Irini Karagiorgis, where, among other things, she talked about her professional plans, the moment she became a mother at 16, but also about her love affair with Christos Kypris.
The Cypriot actress initially revealed that he is filming for the new period series of RIK, on the theme of 50 years since the Turkish invasion, while attending television writing classes from Christiana Artemiou.
The beautiful actress spoke about the difficulties she faced when she was called up at the age of 16 to become a mother for the first time, saying characteristically: “It is extremely difficult. It's not a decision you make easily, even though I knew from the beginning that I would keep the baby. It came out of a 6 month relationship…It was shocking, it was very difficult and it brought a lot of changes in my life. I wanted support and time to be able to accept them and move on.
My family accepted my decision with a lot of love, they didn't tell me “no you won't do it”, they were by my side and support me to this day. I wish all girls had the support I have. I couldn't do it alone… Sometimes I look at the pictures and laugh because you see a baby holding another baby…The first moment I hugged her I tried to realize if this creature is mine”.
Irini Karagiorgi revealed that she received negative comments about her decision to become a mother, both from her classmates, as well as from her teachers and relatives.
Finally about her relationship with doctor Christos Kypris, she revealed: “In the beginning because of the previous situations I was cautious, holding a butt. Christos managed to unlock me. I fell in love with many things in Christos. First of all, how good, giving and romantic a person he is. It's as if we see life in general with the same eyes. He accepted me as I was, with my good and my bad”,, while he did not hesitate to clarify that cohabitation is in the plan, while marriage will come later.
