Israel relaxes measures for Covid19

The Israeli Ministry of Health today decided to relax the “green pass” system which stipulates that only those who have been vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19 can enter crowded indoor or outdoor areas.

According to the decision that will enter into force on Monday, the “green pass” demonstration will not be required to enter restaurants, cinemas, hotels and gyms, among others.

However, the “green pass” will still be necessary to enter places where there is an increased risk of infection, such as social event halls and nightclubs.

According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, 46,429 new Covid-19 infections have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 3,111,307. The Covid-19 death toll rose from 38 to 9,111, while the number of critically ill patients fell from 1,147 to 1,130, according to the same source.

The active cases in the country are estimated at 378,094, while 24 hours ago they amounted to 434,322. The positivity index fell to 24.94% today, while yesterday Thursday it was announced that it was 28.56%.
