Journalistic Conference for the “11th Summer School in Environmental Journalism”

A press conference on the “11th SUMMER SCHOOL IN ENVIRONMENTAL JOURNALISM” was successfully held on Thursday, March 9 at 17:00 in the afternoon, at the Leventios Gallery, with an introduction by the Director/responsible for training of the Atsas Educational Center, Dr. Frosso Hatjiloukas, and then Dr. Antonis Skamnakis, Associate Professor in Political and Community Journalism at the Department of Journalism and Media of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, gave all the information about the specific program. Attending Academics, Presidents of Solea Community Complexes and Morphou Apartment, journalists and students.

This summer school, which will take place between July 2 – July 8, 2023 at the premises of the Atsas Educational Center (host) in Katydata, and is organized by the Department of Journalism and Media of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Department's Journalism Studies and Communication Applications Laboratory of Communication and Media of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Atsa Educational Center.

The program is addressed, in addition to students of Journalism and Media departments, to students of Social Sciences, Education, Philology, Biology, Agriculture, Environment, postgraduate students of related studies and to those who work or have worked as journalists.

The lecturers are faculty members (Teaching Research Staff) of HEI departments, professional journalists as well as specialist environmental scientists.

As part of the program, educational excursions and days will be held in collaboration with agencies of the Republic of Cyprus.

A certificate of attendance will be given upon completion of the summer school. The seven-day program is co-financed and no registration or participation fee is required. The selection criteria for the Summer School are: a) bachelor degree, in case of lack thereof, analytical score and b) journalistic experience or related postgraduate studies. The closing date for the submission of the CV, which constitutes an application, is March 31, 2023, while the results will be announced on April 14, 2023.
