Junior Achievement Cyprus is running JA StartUp for the fifth consecutive year, which is about encouraging business ideas and innovation.
Specifically, Junior Achievement Cyprus (JA Cyprus) for the fifth consecutive year continues its efforts to encourage business ideas and innovation, through the JA StartUp Program, giving students the opportunity to develop their own company while acquiring skills that will help them in their career path.
JA StartUp is a practical experiencea where through it the students experience the start, development and operation of their own business, discover the wonderful world of entrepreneurship and work under real conditions. The Program is offered free of charge to all students of all universities in Cyprus and is implemented every year with the participation of 20,000+ students across Europe!
Participants have the opportunity to compete in National Competition, where the 10 best teams present their business idea to a live audience and jury.
The winning team will have the honor of representing Cyprus at the biggest entrepreneurship event in Europe, Gen-E, which this year will be held in Catania, Italy.
Through the program students will receive full Business Education, important prizes, support from mentors from the business world, access to a platform with rich educational materials, expert webinars, networking opportunities and more.
The program is supported by ASBIS, MetLife and the Research and Innovation Foundation.
