The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Mr. Costas Kadis will leave tomorrow Sunday, November 6, 2022, for Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt to participate in the Conference of United Nations Climate Change 2022 (COP27).
Mr. Kadis will accompany the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, who, on the sidelines of the Conference, will participate in the special event organized by the Republic of Cyprus in cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the results of the Initiative of the Republic of Cyprus to deal with Climate Change in the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East region will be presented.
On the sidelines of the Conference, Mr. Minister will also have bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other countries on issues of their competence, while he will sign two memorandums of cooperation on environmental issues between Cyprus-Ukraine trong> and Cyprus-Armenia.
