An announcement was issued by the Ministry of of Justice for the extension of the sick leave of the Director of the Prisons Department.
According to the announcement, due to the extension of the sick leave of Mrs. Aristotelous until 31/01/2023, the substitute appointment of Mr. .Kapnoulla in the position of the Director of the Prison Department, with the aim of their orderly operation.
He notes that, in the same context, ex’ instructions were given and the necessary actions were also taken to continue the smooth operation of the committees, in which the management of the prisons participated and which handle issues of prisoners' rights such as permits, health, education, communication with the family of Ms.
In closing, he stated that, with regard to the issues that Mrs. Aristotelous and Mrs. Dimitriou raise in their letter, they have been informed in writing by the Minister of the necessary measures.
