She was deified by the volunteers of the Olympic village
Her 7th medal at the Paralympic Games< /strong> of Paris managed to win Karolina Pelendritou, with the award taking place on the evening of Sunday, September 1st.
The great Cypriot champion, after the silver medal in the 50m freestyle, category S11, on Thursday, September 5th enters the competition again this time in the 100m breaststroke. The qualifiers will take place in the morning and in the afternoon the final will take place.

After the awarding of the silver medal, outside the swimming pool the volunteers of the Olympic Games gave her a warm welcome,where she was deified for her success. In fact, Karolina Pelendritou responded to the party set up for her and started dancing with the medal in her hands!
She herself, speaking about her success, said: “It is the best atmosphere I have come across at a Paralympic Games. The French are incredible sports fans. You enter the swimming pool which is full every day and you think you are entering a basketball game. In general, the whole atmosphere from the village to the pool is very warm and that helps the athlete”.
