A proposal for the abolition of the Cyprus Flight Pass from 1 May is submitted today to the Council of Ministers by the Minister of Transport, Giannis Karousos, as head of the inter-ministerial committee for the operation of airports.

According to information from “F”, the Minister of Transport had a consultation on the issue with the other members of the inter-ministerial committee, including the Minister of Health, for the proposal that he will present today before the House. It is reminded that today the completion of the Cyprus Flight Pass form is mandatory for all those who arrive on the island, whether they are Cypriots or foreigners and that the measure is applied from 2020 due to the pandemic. As we wrote again, following decisions of other countries, including Greece, which abolished its own entry form in the country, there have long been suggestions in Cyprus for the abolition of the Cyprus Flight Pass, as a measure to facilitate and normalize travel. to our country.
