The authorization to handle the issue of the Presidency of the Parliament in consultation with the Coordinating Electoral Body of the Democratic Party – Cooperation of Democratic Forces, was given to the President of the party Marios Karoyan.
The Coordinating Electoral Body of the DEMOCRATIC ORGANIZATION-COOPERATION OF DEMOCRATIC FORCES met on Thursday night and evaluated the result of the Parliamentary Elections, while expressing its satisfaction for the admittedly very positive result.
The President of the Party, after hearing the views of the executives, announced that the Parliamentary Group will be the elected one and therefore will lead it in the new Parliament.
Then, the issue of the election of the Speaker of the Parliament was raised and the body, after being informed about what was happening so far, took a position, exchanging views and ideas. It was decided that the issue would continue to concern the Party and authorized the President to handle the issue properly, in consultation with the Coordinating Body.
“Thanks to the thousands of our voters who trusted our Party. We will honor them and make them proud,” the statement concluded.
