Knife attack in Israel: One woman dead, three injured

A Palestinian man stabbed and killed an elderly woman and wounded three others in central Israel today before being shot dead by police, Israeli authorities said.

The attack took place in the city of Holon, outside Tel Aviv.

“Strong police forces are at the scene and are conducting extensive searches with a helicopter and other means,” the police announced.

< p>The attacker was shot and “neutralized”, according to the announcement.
