Today's announcement by the Sports Ethics and Protection Committee vindicates the Cyprus Football Federation and overturns the lies, slander and mud against the Federation that an alleged ring KOP and UEFA hid reports on suspicious betting activity sent by the European Federation.

We expect all those who, with ulterior motives, slandered the Cyprus Football Federation and Cyprus football in general through the media and before the House of Representatives, to at least have the decency to apologize.
We also expect from those SMEs that with particular zeal dealt with the non-existent allegations as proved by the investigation and in several cases adopted them, to present in the same way today's announcement of the Sports Ethics and Protection Committee according to which, the KOP never hid files.
They must also apologize to the sports fans for their participation (intentionally or unintentionally) in the organized effort to drag down the sport and the Federation.
