Applications are now open for the 2024 edition of Ksoporti Art Weekend, which will take place in Paphos from May 31 to June 2.
Ksoporti Art Weekend is an annual nomadic event that celebrates and showcases the diverse Cypriot contemporary art scene and creates an art experience that allows direct engagement between the public and artists, galleries, and art centers.
Among the aspirations of Ksoporti Art Weekend is to feature the special character of each city's art scene.
The event was originally held in Limassol in 2019 and 2022, and in 2023 it traveled to Larnaka.
This spring the spotlight is on the art community of Paphos.
During the three days of the event, Ksoporti Art Weekend will encompass open studios and permanent and temporary exhibitions at various art spaces and galleries across the city.
Ksoporti Art Weekend offers a unique platform for artists, studios, galleries, and art centers to showcase their work and engage with the public directly.
Application process and criteria
- Applicants must have a studio or an exhibition space located in Paphos.
- Artists, and gallerists/gallery representatives must be present in their space during the event's opening hours.
- Successful applicants are requested to pay a €50 participation fee.
The deadline for applications is March 17 at 11 p.m.
