Gallop: The Cypriot data of the expression “I am in a relationship”.
Lalemou (www.lalemou.com), the only 100% Cypriot mobile dating app, conducted the first survey on relationships between men and women in Cyprus.
Below are the most interesting conclusions:
Foundings:
- Women who are in a relationship are open to flirting…
…But until there! 59% of women who are currently in a relationship state that they are still open to flirting, but so far (Table 1)! In contrast, only 38% of men in a relationship are still open to flirting (Table 2). Where is the trap? That 75% of them “flirt and whatever happens”. At the same time, women in a relationship may be flirting, but they stop there.
- In theory we are good…
68% of women who are not currently in a relationship state that when they are in a relationship they are not open to flirting (Table 3). However, when the same question is asked of women who are currently in a relationship, this percentage drops to only 37% (Table 4).
- Relationship = Sex
Romance is a thing of the past and kissing or dating is by no means the beginning of a relationship. The vast majority of 64% of respondents answer that the beginning of a relationship is sex. This is true for both men and women (Table 5).
- They gnaw the ear with the crank to admit that they are in a relationship…
Even if sex is considered the beginning of a relationship, it is not enough. It also takes time! 69% of men and women state that it must be more than 1 month from the day they had sex to say “I am in a relationship”, while 11% never say so (Table 6)!
- Ages 35+ are aware
The above picture changes significantly for both men and women over the age of 35. In this case and in 56%, 10 days after sex is enough to say “I am in a relationship” (Table 7).
The identity of the Research:
The research was conducted by the application lalemou chat & acquaintances (www.lalemou.com), on a sample of one thousand (1,000) people, men and women from all over Cyprus.
