Due to road maintenance works on a section of the Limassol – Paphos road, from 8 p.m. until 5 p.m. today, both lanes will be closed, towards Paphos, on a section of the road.
The traffic from Limassol to Paphos will be channeled through an opening near the village of Mandria in the opposite direction, which will be used for two-way traffic. Traffic will return through an opening near the East area.
In Nicosia, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 3 pm, due to works for the construction of an apartment building, the two traffic lanes of Themistoklis Dervi Street in the direction of the traffic lights Gavriilidis to Nicosia, between the lanes Nikokreontos and Tefkrou, will be closed. Traffic will be diverted in one lane in the opposite direction.
In the province of Famagusta, due to the execution of works, between the hours of 7.30 p.m. and 6.30 pm, sections of the roads Sotiras – Agia Thekla, Sotiras – Liopetriou and Xylofagou – Liopetriou will remain closed for traffic.
During the works, the traffic will be diverted to adjacent roads, while in some places the traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane using the “Stop & Go” system.
